Awilco LNG Proposes Name Change to ALNG
Norwegian gas carrier owner Awilco LNG is considering a rebrand following the departure of its long-serving chief executive Jon Skule Storheill.
New Leadership and Management Shake-up
The company has decided to enter its next phase under new leadership, with a new CEO and a wider management shake-up, including a proposed boardroom reshuffle to be put to shareholders at the next annual general meeting.
In addition to the leadership changes, Awilco LNG will also be putting a proposal to change the company’s name from Awilco LNG to ALNG to a shareholder vote at the annual general meeting on June 3.
Current Fleet and Operations
Awilco LNG currently owns two 2013-built 156,000 cu m TFDE membrane LNG carriers, the WilForce and WilPride.
