Does Shoham give me a German address for online shopping?
No. Shoham does not run a shopping address or a warehouse in Germany. For that you need a parcel forwarder such as our partner Forward2Me, which gives you a free German address and ships your orders to Cyprus.
Do I pay customs duty or VAT on purchases from Germany?
No. Germany and Cyprus are both in the EU, so there is no customs duty and no import VAT when the parcel arrives. The German shop charges VAT when you pay.
Many German shops already deliver to Cyprus — do I need a forwarder?
Not always. If the shop delivers to Cyprus at a reasonable price, order directly. A forwarder helps when a shop only delivers within Germany, or when you want several orders combined into one parcel.
