CTC Group Announces New Board President and Six Senior Management Changes

CTC Group, a leading diversified conglomerate in Cyprus, disclosed a comprehensive reorganisation of its governance and senior‑management structure at a recent board meeting. The changes, set to take effect from 1 January 2027 (with some appointments starting 1 November 2026), aim to streamline decision‑making and reinforce the Group’s focus on logistics, FMCG and automotive activities.

Christakis Charalambous Appointed Non‑Executive Board President

Effective 1 January 2027, Christakis Charalambous will assume the role of non‑executive President of the Board of Directors, succeeding Dimitris Dimitriou. Mr. Charalambous, already a board member and chair of the Board’s Executive Committee, brings extensive experience from his positions on the boards of Hermes Airports Ltd, the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Federation of Employers and Industrialists. The Board thanked Mr. Dimitriou for his valuable contributions during his tenure as President.

Executive Committee Composition

The current Executive Committee comprises Christakis Charalambous, Elena Siakola, Chrysoula Siakola and George Louka, who will continue to support the Board’s strategic agenda.

Key Senior‑Management Appointments

  • Company Secretary – Maria Kaïmi: The internal legal counsel will replace George Mitsides as of 1 January 2027, with the Board acknowledging Mr. Mitsides’ long‑standing service.
  • Group Chief Financial & Operating Officer (CFOO) – George Louka: Currently Group Finance and IT Director, Mr. Louka will step into the combined CFO/COO role on 1 November 2026, reporting to the Executive Committee.
  • Group Finance Director – Argiro Efstathiou: Former CFO & COO of the FMCG subsidiaries (Argosy Trading, Cassandra Trading, Artview), Ms. Efstathiou will report to the new CFOO.
  • CEO of FMCG Activities – Antonis Chatzilazarou: Previously Chief Commercial Officer of the FMCG businesses, Mr. Chatzilazarou will lead the fast‑moving consumer goods portfolio from 1 November 2026.
  • CFO of FMCG Activities – Ariadni Samouil: A chartered accountant with audit and FMCG experience, Ms. Samouil will report directly to the FMCG CEO.
  • Company Secretary – Maria Kaïmi (re‑listed for emphasis): She will also serve as the Group’s internal legal adviser.

Implications for the Group’s Strategic Direction

The restructuring consolidates financial and operational oversight under a single CFOO, providing a unified view of resource allocation and operational efficiency. By aligning the FMCG leadership under dedicated CEO and CFO roles, CTC aims to accelerate growth in its consumer‑goods segment while maintaining robust governance across its diversified portfolio.

CTC’s automotive arm, headed by CEO George Kozakos, will continue to operate under the same strategic framework, ensuring continuity across the Group’s core activities.

Looking Ahead

The Board affirmed its confidence that the newly appointed leaders will drive sustainable growth, enhance operational performance and reinforce CTC’s position as a pivotal player in Cyprus’s trade and logistics ecosystem.
