Cyprus Supermarkets Price Comparison
The Cypriot Consumer Association has conducted a price comparison of 20 supermarkets on the e-kalathi platform.
Methodology
The supermarkets were grouped into four categories based on the number of products they offer on the platform.
- Group 1: 5 supermarkets with the most products (327)
- Group 2: 3 supermarkets with fewer products (63)
- Group 3: 9 supermarkets with 162 common products
- Group 4: 7 supermarkets with 112 common products
Results
The comparison revealed that Athienitis was the cheapest supermarket in all groups, with a price difference of up to 34.82% compared to the most expensive supermarket, SYPAL-Limnia.
The association will continue to monitor prices and publish its findings.
