DOF Secures Three-Year Subsea Vessel Charter in North America
Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has been awarded a contract for one of its subsea support vessels in North America.
Contract Details
DOF secured a charter for its 2017-built Skandi Involver with an unnamed client. The contract will commence in the early third quarter of 2026 and has a duration of three years firm plus two one-year options.
Under the agreement, DOF will perform subsea construction, inspection, and maintenance activities, as well as support for well interventions.
Vessel Details
The Skandi Involver is a DP3 vessel outfitted with 400 and 100-tonne cranes, and integrated ROV and survey services.
The contract award underlines DOF’s strong position in the field development support segment and further strengthens its position in a key region, according to Mons Aase, CEO of DOF.
