Erasmus Shipinvest Group Expands Fleet with New Kamsarmax Bulk Carriers
Athens-based Erasmus Shipinvest Group has confirmed an order for four additional kamsarmax bulk carriers at China’s Jiangsu New Hantong Ship Heavy Industry, bringing the total number of vessels to eight.
Newbuilding Programme
The newbuilding programme, which includes eight 82,000 dwt units, is valued at nearly $300m. The vessels are expected to be delivered starting in 2028.
Erasmus Shipinvest Group's Diversification
Erasmus has been diversifying its fleet portfolio in recent years, with newbuilding activity including feeder containership orders ranging from 1,800 teu to 2,400 teu at Chinese shipyards.
