eWise Acquires HTC Energy

eWise Cyprus Limited, a subsidiary of Petrolina (Holdings) Public Limited, has acquired HTC Energy Limited, a company that manages the Esso fleet card.

Background

eWise, formerly known as ExxonMobil Cyprus Limited, is a company registered in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. It operates in the oil products sales sector in Cyprus through a network of Esso-branded fuel stations.

Petrolina (Holdings) Public Limited is the parent company of the Petrolina Group and is listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange. The company is involved in the import, storage, and trading of fuels and lubricants through its network of stations across Cyprus.

HTC Energy

HTC Energy Limited is a company registered in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and is exclusively engaged in providing services to eWise through an exclusive license for the management of the Esso fleet card. This card allows commercial customers to purchase fuel from Esso stations.

Acquisition

The acquisition of HTC Energy by eWise has been notified to the Commission for the Protection of Competition.
