Floatel International Secures New Contract in Brazil
Floatel International has announced a new three-month assignment for its semisubmersible accommodation unit, Floatel Victory, at Equinor’s Bacalhau field in Brazil.

The contract, which is set to start in mid-2026, includes options to extend depending on project timelines. This new award adds to an already busy schedule for the Floatel Victory, which is committed to working in Brazil for much of the year.
Growing Demand for Flotels
The Bacalhau field is one of several large developments driving activity offshore Brazil, where installation, hook-up, and maintenance work continues to support demand for accommodation vessels. This latest contract highlights the steady demand for flotel capacity in the region’s offshore projects.
Upcoming Campaigns
- Floatel Victory is currently working with Karoon and will begin a new campaign with Brava Energia in the fourth quarter of 2026.
- A planned maintenance stop is scheduled after the current round of work.
