dship Carriers and NSB Group Launch Joint Venture
Germans MPP specialist dship Carriers and shipmanager NSB Group have teamed up to launch a dedicated joint venture aimed at managing a new series of multipurpose vessels.
Key Features of the Venture
- The new entity, Hinode Shipmanagement, will be based in Buxtehude and is set up to oversee dship’s next generation of MPP newbuildings.
- The move brings together dship Carriers’ commercial and operational experience with NSB Group’s technical management capabilities.
The joint venture will manage six D500 MPP vessels currently under construction at Chinese yards, scheduled for delivery between mid-2026 and the end of 2027.
Benefits of the Partnership
The partnership will allow for a tailored solution for modern project cargo shipping, with the vessels featuring a deckhouse positioned on the starboard side, freeing up deck space and improving cargo intake flexibility.
