Wah Kwong Secures Green Methanol Supply

Wah Kwong’s fuel arm Venture Energy has moved to secure green methanol supply, signing an agreement with Shanghai Shenji Energy as the group builds out its position in low-carbon marine fuels.

Partnership Details

Under the deal, Venture Energy will source ISCC EU-certified green methanol from Shenji, with first deliveries planned in the first half of 2026. The product is compliant with the EU’s Renewable Energy Directive and aimed at shipowners facing tighter emissions rules, the company said.
